Studentrooms reaches a large audience of students

As a landlord you want to rent out your accommodation to a student as soon as possible. In the ideal world landlords and students would be able to quickly find and contact each other. Unfortunately this isn’t happening right now, because most popular platforms are charging money to get in touch with one another.

This is where Studentrooms comes in the picture. We’re an online platform where you can list your accommodation for free and where students can get in touch with you for free. The only thing we ask from you is a working email address and preferably a phone number, so students can contact you.

Students can contact you through your profile, but also directly from the property page. These messages can be seen in your dashboard and are well ordered so you can easily respond to inquiries.

When your accommodation is rented out, you can deactivate your listing. If you want to relist this property again at a later time, you can simply reactivate your listing. This will save you a lot of time, because you won’t have to fill in the required information again.

Our platform is easy to use

We developed our platform with your wishes in our mind. When you register an account with us, you’ll notice that you have a private dashboard. This is where you can control everything. You can see your listings and you can easily remove or edit a property when it is rented to a student, but you can also easily relist it when you are looking for a new tenant. This saves you a lot of time, because you won’t have to enter the same information twice.

When you’re an agency, you can assign properties to different agents. They will be responsible for their own properties and other agents won’t see messages that are irrelevant to them. You will also get your own webpage where your details are shown to the public. You can see an example of an agency page here.

Take photographs of your accommodation

A picture says more than a thousand words, so make sure the pictures you take of your accommodation are of high quality. Show the students what they’re getting for their money. A good photograph shows that you care about your property and will result in an accommodation that is rented out faster.

Create a listing on Studentrooms

After you’ve taken beautiful pictures of your property it’s time to put it online. Write a catchy text where you describe the accommodation and follow the steps and your property will be online in no time at all. After that, we will make sure it is viewed by students from all over the world.
